The system provides real time updates so that everyone involved with the ifle has the most up to date information The document production capabilities allow the cratfing of documents that not only merge with account level information but also utilize contingency logic that allows the documents to automatically modify themselves (inserting or deleting elements of the document as necessary) based on the speciifcs of each account. The intelligent worklfow modeling allow us to automate most of the collection and legal process and yet involve the legal, clerical, accounting and collection staff when necessary to insure proper and efficient handling. Cogent provides interfaces for most major forwarders and provides the capability to create new interfaces so we can adapt to the EDT requirements of new clients as well. Additionally, we can provide real time on-line access to any client that allows them access to only their own accounts. We offer our clients a variety of ways to forward and access files. In addition to the standard method of physically forwarding the necessary information, clients may also place files utilizing an Excel spreadsheet or directly by setting up an electronic data interface. Similarly, we can set up clients with internet access to our system so they can obtain file status information on their matters 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. The firm maintains a dedicated T1 line for internet access. This provides all attorneys, paralegals and collection staff with very fast 24/7 internet access. This is critical given the ever increasing use of internet email, online services such as court docket and efiling systems, online bankruptcy trustee databases, address and telephone number lookup sites, public record database services, and access to client websites. The Call Unit also utilizes a state of the art predictive dialing system from TouchStar to maximize our efficiency while calling debtors.
